My Quora

What are the best books of all time?

It's difficult to define the "best books of all time" as opinions on literature can vary greatly. However, based on my preferences, here are some books I enjoyed reading:

1. "The Richest Man in Babylon" by George S. Clason - A classic book on personal finance and wealth building, using parables set in ancient Babylon.

2. "Peregrinação" by Fernão Mendes Pinto - A Portuguese travelogue detailing the author's adventures in the Far East during the 16th century, including encounters with pirates, cannibals, and fantastical creatures.

3. "Khun Chang Khun Phaen" - A Thai epic poem about the romance and adventures of two historical figures Khun Chang and Khun Phaen. A story of love, war and tragedy.

4. The Bible (Old and New Testaments) - A religious text containing the foundational beliefs and teachings of Christianity.

5. The Sherlock Holmes series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - A collection of detective stories featuring the brilliant detective Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson, solving crimes and mysteries in Victorian-era London.

Other books based on these preferences include "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu, "The Wealth of Nations" by Adam Smith, "The Travels of Marco Polo" by Marco Polo, and "The Count of Monte Cristo" by Alexandre Dumas.
